Yes........I am a snob.

Here are a few items I would never pay discount for. Inspired by a billboard I saw stating

"All Fillings $100"

1. Dental work - I would never go to a discount dentist. I can't even bare to go to the dentist on my health plan after my own dentist said they use cheap products.

2. Plastic surgery - If I am going to transform my body I am going to the best.

3. Lasik - I would like to be able to see afterwards and will pay top dollar, thank you.

4. Sushi - I am somewhat of a snob when it comes to the raw fish I eat. I will not eat grocery store sushi at buffets or all you can eat places. They gross me out and I feel as though it's not quality fish.

5. Diapers - When I was a nanny and Nancy once bought the cheap diapers I about died at the explosions that came with them. Never again I tell you.

Those are my top 5 and I am okay with being a snob about a few things.

What are yours?

I agree with all of those, except we didn't use the pricey diapers, we used Luvs, which was a compromise.

I would add that I cannot shop at Mexican supermarkets, or Walmart for food. It's just not right to buy fruit and meat at at Wal-mart, or Target and when food is so cheap it makes me wonder on the quality, especially meat.

I'm a thread snob. I can't buy the cheap stuff to use for my sewing. I break it down to price per yard of thread and decide 1 cent is worth it for the good stuff.

I buy cheap wine for cooking, but never no-name peanut butter. We usually go with Skippy Super Chunky (preferably Skippy Natural).

We have fallen in love with Aspen Mills bread. It' $3.49 for a loaf of honey whole wheat. Those 16 slices are so worth it. Best of all it has 5 ingredients.

I could go on, but I'm supposed to be looking stuff up online.
